Edelbrock Extreme Shock
AS SEEN IN 4X4 AUSTRALIA February 2006, now Australia's number one shockabsorber.

ABT 4x4 is excited to anounce we are distributors of Edelbrock's IAS 4x4 performance shocks.

This shock has a patent design piston that will revolutionise performance shock absorber for the future. These shocks are more efficient and effective than any other shocks in the same price range.

They react instanteously and run 60% cooler than similar De Carbon design monotubes. This efficiency makes them sustain demanding conditons for longer with superior performance.

Available for:
- Jeeps, 2-6in for XJ, TJ, YJ and WJ;
- F-Trucks 2-6in;
- Patrols 75mm and 120mm, (optional bearing)
- Landcruisers 75mm, 100mm and 140mm;
- Some Hiuxes, Navaras & Mazdas.

For Patrol lifts over 50mm lift we recommend using a high misalignment bearing on the shaft end of the shock over the standard 19mm/OD bush. We recommend this because as the diff rotates in its arch under the vechicle the standard bush can not handle the travel. It starts to bind which creates a buckling force that will try to bend the shock and cause the seals to fail and resulting in shock failure. Our bearing will overcome this shortfall enabling the shock to get full travel without damaging the shock. The bearing will be an additional $75 which will ensure the shocks longevity.

 Through valving we can control the shock absorbers characteristic under certain conditions ie how the way in which the shock behaves at different shaft/piston velocity (speed the piston moves through the shock cylinder). For example the valving can be tuned to be very stiff in compression at slow shaft/piston velocity (ie to stop body roll) or soft at fast shaft/piston velocity (efficiently absorb speed bump at 60kph).

Ok now we know that if you want better performance from a shock your best bet is to run monotube shockabsorbers. There a several top mass produced monotube shocks available for 4x4s. Elastogran Bumpstops
ABT has access to one of Germany’s most respected manufacturers of high quality bumpstops. Bumpstops are commonly a forgotten part of a suspension system, however they are as critical in a vehicles performance as a spring or shock. We consider that with any change or upgrade in the suspension should also include an upgrade in the bumpstops.
Elastogran products are used in many European high performance on and offroad vehicles. We have a large range of items to assist with testing & identifying the most appropriate bumpstop for your application.

The outstanding features of these components, which are made of micro-cellular, special polyurethane elastomers, are:
	enormous deflection potential with negligible lateral expansion
	progressive pressure/compression behaviour
	minor permanent set under static and long-term, dynamic loads
These features will assist in improving the vehicles performance while ensuring protection from the increase Newtons created when by increase vehicle weights & modified 4x4 suspensions. Therefore our aftermarket bumpstops are a must and a perfect match to our Edelbrock range of shocks.

Our most common bumpstop specs are:

- 12,000 N 96mm-31mm
- 20,000 N  126mm - 40mm (86mm deflection) (standard 126mm 65mm solid 66mm 12,400N)
- 30,000 N 133mm - 43mm

Please note prices are per bumpstop and some vehicles will require adaptors/brakets to ensure correct fitment. Price vary depending on the application however they range from $75-$110.

Jeep Shocks - ABT & Edlebrock
As Jeep owners we are a passionate lot and want the best for our rigs. So if you are like us and want the best performance, efficiency and longevity out of your Jeeps suspension Edelbrock IAS performance shocks are a must.

There is no question of a doubt these are the best performance shock available on & off the for the Australian Jeep market. There patent design reacts faster sensing the correct velocity to ensure superior handling. In doing this the piston is extremely efficient reducing friction and heat build up in the shock which prolongs life to all components in the shock.

Basically the shock doesnt need to work as hard as other shocks to maintain superior control. Therefore if it isnt working as hard it has the capacity to sustain performance!!! And at the end of the day performance & traction is everything for an offroad suspension, meaning this shock was built to endure the demanding conditions us Aussies Jeepers put our Jeeps through.

They are available for: - (note Remote Xtreme Travel shock give a greater range of travel for equivalent length shocks which is good for suspensions with little room for shocks, plus prolonged damping control)

Because no other shock has the patented inertia valve.
Until now, if you wanted to eliminate chassis roll around turns and under hard braking, yet have a comfortable ride you couldn't do it. No shock absorber in existence could do both without some compromise in either handling or comfort. When you improved the handling with stiffer shocks, the ride became rough and uncomfortable. When you improved the ride with softer shocks, the handling became sloppy. That is, until now... The revolutionary Edelbrock Performer IAS shock absorbers deliver excellent handling and a comfortable ride. The patented Ricor&#reg; Inertia Active System eliminates the compromise inherent in other designs for a shock that is soft on rough roads and firm on smooth roads. This keeps the tires on the ground and the chassis stable. You may have heard these claims before, but now it's for real. With Edelbrock, you get "The Best of Both Worlds"... superior handling and maximum comfort!
We're so sure about the performance of our shocks, you get a 30-day money back guarantee and a limited lifetime warranty. You'll be amazed how well your sport utility, truck or car will handle.

Radflo Navara D40

This is a quality package setup. It includes quality Radflo coilovers with an adapter plate to fit the original mounting position. Quality Eibach coils are provided in the package. In the US they are promoted as a 2-3in lift if used with aftermarket contol arms. We have found that this is not the case as the arms eventually bind on the upper spring mounts and therefore it more like a 1 - 2in lift.

Upper control arms are available at additional cost.

This kit will provide superior handling as the Radflo shocks and eibach combo is a performance setup far superior to the original equipment.

Pricing is per pair, includes springs.
